- Can I customize my own Smileys?
Yes! Click the "Custom Smileys" link in your Smiley Central application window to add your own text - up to 150 characters - to a Smiley thought bubble or sign. You can then save up to 10 of these custom Smileys for future use on Smiley Central. Choose from static, animated, messenger, sports and humorous custom smiley icons!
- Will my friends hear a Talking Smiley if I insert it into my IM window?
Assuming they haven't done so already, your friends may need to upgrade their version of Smiley Central in order to hear a Talking Smiley. They will have an opportunity to upgrade their Smiley Central product the first time that someone sends them a Talking Smiley during an IM conversation.
Once you and all of your IM buddies upgrade to the new version, you'll be able to communicate with the help of our Talking Smileys...and hear them during your IM conversations as well!
- How do I send a smiley to a mobile phone?
Sending a smiley to a mobile phone is easy! Simply follow these easy steps:
1) Right-click on any smiley in Smiley Central
2) Select "Send to mobile phone"
3) Enter the mobile phone number and a message
It's that simple!
- How do I add a smiley to my outgoing HTML-based webmail?
1) Open a Compose Message screen in your web-based email account.
You must be using the rich-media version of your email account.
2) Click the Smiley Central button on your browser.
3) Select a category and click on the smiley icon you would like to add - that smiley will now appear in your email.
- Can I search for a specific smiley in Smiley Central?
Yes! Just enter a keyword or phrase in the Search box found at the bottom of your Smiley Central application. Once you do, smiley search results will appear in the right-column window above the search box.
Tip: When looking for a match to a multiple-word search, be sure to put the words or phrase inside quotation marks. You'll get better smiley search results!

Yes. We offer Smileys, Ecards, Cursors, and Screensavers for most holidays.
- Can I copy and paste a smiley into another document, like Word or PowerPoint?
Yes - you can paste a smiley into nearly any document that accepts images. To do so, right-click on the desired smiley and highlight the "Copy" option. Then use the Paste command (Ctrl-V) to place the smiley in your document.
Please note: The copy-and-paste feature is not compatible with Custom smileys, and Smileys cannot be pasted into instant messages. Animated Smileys will not animate in word processing documents, and will only animate when a PowerPoint document is being displayed as a slide show.
